During the 30 minutes presentation, James asked attendees to consider how the company’s (business) goals are being furthered by social efforts. He proposed that any work that isn’t focused on the company’s core business mission, though good, might not be worth doing.
James Burnes addressed the Public Relations Society of America’s Hoosier chapter on August 10, 2011. The event, held at the Sheraton’s scenic Panorama room, had nearly 100 attendees from both the private and public sector.
